2017 STRIVE/Starbucks Youth Resource Fair 

Date and Time Sat, April 15, 2017     11:00 AM – 3:00 PM EDT

Location: Promise Academy I Gymnasium, 245 W 129th Street,           New York, NY 10027

 ** You must be 16-24 years old to attend this event**

**All participants are required to stay the entire length of the workshop. **

Our Project Will: Support Youth with skill building workshops and networking opportunities focused on career and life skills.

Starbucks and other employers will interviewing applicants on-site that day. Please come dressed in professional attire and with multiple copies of your resume if you’d like to interview.

We will be providing 4 breakout sessions to the youth in attendance.

Each participant will be required to attend 2 breakout sessions and the leadership panel, or 1 breakout session, an interview, and the leadership panel.

Employers will verify any interviews that occur that day with a stamp or initials on a sheet that will be provided. At the end of the day participants will check out and receive 2 giveaway items and a certification verifying they attended this exciting employment workshop!

Career Fair Schedule — Saturday, April 15, 2017

11am to 11:45am – Registration for Reserved Youth

11:45am – 12:00pm – Registration for Walk- Ins

12:00pm – 12:45pm – First Breakout Sessions (2 simultaneously in different rooms)

12:45pm – 1:00pm – Break

1:00pm – 1:45pm – Second Round of Breakout Sessions (2 simultaneously in different rooms)

1:45pm – 2pm – Break

2:00pm – 2:30pm – Starbucks Leadership Panel

2:30pm – 3:00pm – Checkout to receive certifications

Beverages, snacks, and giveaways will be provided by Starbucks on the day of the event.

**Childcare for 2-10 year olds will be available on-site, please indicate on your registration form how many children you will be bringing.**
