Black History Month Tour

Morris-Jumel docent and historian Gregory Washington will lead a tour (both inside the museum and throughout the neighborhood) detailing the African presence at the house, including the few enslaved persons who lived in the mansion, Ann Northrup and her children who lived at the home from 1841-1843, and the African Americans who lived in the Jumel Terrace Historic District beginning around 1930 to the present.
